I put "thought as being hot" for DLH and Hatton because before the fights, tons of people said they would KO Floyd and pointed to the Mayorga and Castillo fights, as well as their styles and size, but after they lost, all of a sudden Oscar was old and Hatton was small.
People did say that about Floyd, but it's so ironic that is the exact same thing people said when Pac fought De la hoya and Hatton, except Hatton was shot instead of too small.

Ummm a contract to fight Zab was in place BEFORE he lost to Baldi.

Then, Floyd won the title at 147, then went up to 54 to and beat Oscar and ya'll want to knock him for NOT going all the way back down to 140 to fight Hatton (the guy that wasn't ready for him at that weight)? Please.

I never said Floyd had to go down to 140 to fight Hatton or 135 to fight Marquez. It's just that fighting those type of guys at 147 gives Floyd the advantage. That is the theory that is being discussed here ....

Kind of like Pac fighting Cotto at 145 for a WW title.

And fighting Cotto at 150 for a 154 Pound title.

What advantage did Floyd have over Hatton by the fight being at 140 pounds? Was Floyd too big for Hatton.....

They agreed to fight before Zab fought Baldo and nobody knew he was going to lose to Baldo.

Funny how people criticize him for fighting and beating the **** out of Zab because I remember a lot of fighters, commentators, fans, and experts wanted him to fight Zab.

Now you want Floyd to fight a guy who said he is not ready to fight Floyd? Come on ....

Don't you want to see Floyd in a few fights where there is enough risk that you can finally put all this talk to bed?

What I want is for guys to stop complaining about Hatton going up in weight to fight Floyd...that is what I want. That is what happens in the sport. No one complained when Floyd went up in weight to fight JLC or Oscar. And I have realized that "this talk" won't go anywhere.

Im sure they're around I remember this though. Zab had to fight Bali due to some **** about the belts if I remember correctly. It was basically set in stone that Judah would beat Baldi. Floyd didnt know he would lose. No one did.
