The first person to call Zab Judah on Saturday night after he had blown his $5-million showdown against Floyd Mayweather was Mayweather himself

"He said, 'You fought good. You're still a champ, hold your head up.'"

once you are on mayweathers "hit list" there is no getting off it. he will fight you no matter how shot you are, how small you are, and even if you lost to a journeymen.

too bad no good fighters can get on that damn list!

de la hoya was a money fight, props to floyd for taking the fight at 154 and everything else de la hoya wanted him to do

hatton is NOT a good fighter, he has no defense and swings WIDE, although he was undefeated, he never beat any1 that was really good

Marquez, fits the quote that Zab was saying to a T

Mosley, fits the quote that Zab was saying to a T

I put "thought as being hot" for DLH and Hatton because before the fights, tons of people said they would KO Floyd and pointed to the Mayorga and Castillo fights, as well as their styles and size, but after they lost, all of a sudden Oscar was old and Hatton was small.

            The theory still holds:

Baldomir - was a no name that had 2 good fights but ....
Gatti: was out of prime and couldn't make weight anymore at 140 so he moved up to 147. Baldo was too big for an out of prime Gatti.
Judah: Was more inconsistent than usual against Baldo. Baldo looked big against him. Judah has a bad record against top WW (Cotto, Floyd, Clottey, Spinks(1-1)) and yes, even Baldomir. Probably Judah should have stayed at 140 but at the time the big money was at 147.

Oscar: Oscar was NOT a hot fighter. Actually the exact opposite.
Win: Mayorga - 1 year before Floyd.
Win: Felix Sturm - 3 years before Floyd and many thought Oscar lost
Win: Lou Campas - 4 years before Floyd
Note: In between the above fights, lost to Hopkins and Mosley
Note: Floyd fans bring up the point that Roach said that he noticed that Oscar couldn't pull the trigger anymore (out of prime) during the Mayweather fight.
Note: By then, Oscar was more GBP than Delahoya

Hatton: Fought Floyd at 147 but Hatton lived at 140. Hatton did not show he belonged at 147 as his only other fight there he struggled.

People only speaks the truth when issues affect them personally. When Zab knew the fight was going to happen, he spoke how he really felt.

This is what Mayweather does, he goes in there and fights fighters when they're finished". - Zab Judah
I guess that Zab is saying that he was finished before the Baldomir fight because he and Mayweather had agreed to terms for a fight before Judah fought Baldomir and I think they had already signed the contract. Baldomir was supposed to be a tune-up for Judah for a superfight with Mayweather. It never ceases to amaze me how people remember their view of things instead of the actual facts.

Hatton fought a champ in his first fight at 147....a nice southpaw at that. The first left hook Hatton threw, he knocked Luis down. But besides that, when they were BOTH at 140 pounds, Hatton was reportedly "not ready" for Floyd after beating Kostya. Then, Floyd won the title at 147, then went up to 54 to and beat Oscar and ya'll want to knock him for NOT going all the way back down to 140 to fight Hatton (the guy that wasn't ready for him at that weight)? Please.
