Oscar is the money whore here, he should've retired 2 years ago but fights for money,Coming with this b.s. about how him ans Floyd SR can beat Mayweather and this and that, Enjoy Mayweather while he still fights, i doubt we'll ever see such a talented fighter for a long ass time

Agreed. I'm not even too upset about the DLH-Mayweather rematch, it's the Hatton rematch what gets me. What a ****** fight.

        I strongly disagree with this...

Yes Oscar bring the money and the fanbase...no doubt about it...probably 10 fold over cotto...

HOWEVER this isnt the WWE were the whole point is just entertainment and money and drama...

this is boxing...and to be on the top p4p spot you have to fight the best in the sport.

Oscar is arguably one of the best of his generation (at the least he breaks top 5 of his generation) HOWEVER cotto is somewhere around the 5th spot on the p4p rankings (mattering on how you have him ranked but he's DEFINATELY top 10)...

im not opposed to the oscar rematch (its the closest floyd has been to a loss so i think its not a bad idea) so long as the cotto fight still takes place...

if he avoids the winner of cotto/margarito and decides to fight a ricky hatton or someone else that he is easily superior to then that top p4p ranking wont last long...not even in the ring magazine's rankings.

you can lose your top spot without losing a fight if you choose poor competition so as long as floyd decides to fight tough competition in addition to the big money fights then i wouldn't have a problem with it...

if he ducks the top guys then i dont see how any reasonable person could keep him the top p4p fighter over more deserving fighters who fight the best like a manny pacquiao...

          Perfect post.

          100% perfect.

Oscar is going away from boxing forever soon, and will make Floyd more money than ANYONE else ever could. Those circumstances allow for a rematch I think.

The Hatton rematch? A Bruseles rematch makes about as much sense to me.

I’ll be honest, boxing comes so easy to me I don’t even think about it. I’m here to entertain. . . . Other fighters have to fight. I don’t have to fight."

If this how PBF thinks, then he should be removed from the P4P list because he no longer fights but entertains...more of a clown than a pugilist.

I hope Cotto would become the undisputed welterwight champ and gain some mainsteam popularity, PBF can lo longer ignore him.

None of this matters anymore. You know why?

Because if Cotto wins in July, the fans and media will take care of it for him. Floyd will go insane with all the questions about fighting Cotto. You think it's bad now? Just wait.

If sugar ray robinson only fought the easiest fight possible, fought twice a year, and only wanted to fight guys he already beat in rematches, i'm sure he would've been undefeated too.
