For me yes because of Miguel's disadvantage in height and reach. Paul is a dried out ****in middleweight as far as I am concerned.

It depends on how he wins and it depends on whether or not Cotto goes on to lose an obvious decision to Carlos Quintanna immediately after.

you don't get P4P status by beating one person.. Yeah Williams beat Margarito, it was a close fight too. Other then that what else has he done? He is 1-1 with Quintana and hasn't done anything else.. Cotto on the other hand has a more impressive campaigne and career thus if he beats Margo gets him closer to being P4P 1..

P4P rankings are bull**** anyway though.. it's all about being best in your division.

Explain How This Margarito is better then the Margarito Paul Williams Fought Status wise...if you compare to the two fighters Margarito fought before he fought each fighter.....????

Paul Williams vs. Margarito ( Clottey, undefeated Cintron)
Miguel Cotto vs. Margarito ( Golden Johnson, repeat victory over Cintron)
            Miguel Cotto vs. Margatito...

Because, honestly (especially after the Clottey fight) I thought PW would blow margo away. Since the fight was close, margos stock went up. Had he started earlier, he would have had a good chance of winning.

But on paper, you are right. The margo vs PW looked better.

The Margarito who fought Williams and the Margarito who fought Cotto is still the same Margarito skill wise and in age. Now if you where to compare the De La Hoya who fought Mosley and the De La Hoya who fought Mayweather... then you would have a point.

See that's your double standard.. you try to say that the DLH who fought Mosley is just as good as the one who fought Mayweather and that's simple not the case.

With Margarito however that fight wasn't long ago.. he is still the same skill wise and age wise and he didn't lose all that lopsided against Williams and the fight was close.

Bringing Mayweather into an unrelated thread as usual.

The version of Oscar that fought Mayweather was simply nowhere near as removed from that De La Hoya as people like to spin it.

It's just as easy to argue that the Mosley who fought Cotto is not the Mosley of back then.

                      So shut the **** up.
