Nothing lined up at the moment, but hopefully IF Casaymayor fights Juan Diaz, Nate Campbell will fight Guzman (Guzman is ranked #1 by the WBO so I don't see why the hell not).

I wish Guzman would stay in one division and become a real force there. At 122 he wasn't making meaningful defenses of his belt. At 130 he was starting to make some noise. I was impressed by his win over Soto.

I think the reason Guzman doesn't hit as hard anymore is because he can't stay still and set himself for power against these bigger fighters. He's constantly on the move because he doesn't like getting hit by these bigger fighters.

If he's going to fight at 135, so be it. I hope he gets the big fights like Campbell, Diaz, Katsidis. I'm just not sure how far his legs can take him.

Well, I think that's exactly why he keeps going up. He's chasing the big names (Pacquaio, Marquez, etc.)

it's not really just pacquiao. he wanted to fight joan guzman but maybe the ppv sales wont be that good since guzman's performance with sotto was a bore. nobody wants a hyped up fight like maweathers then the action is dead.

there are other fighters who doesn't want to be with guzman because everyone is chasing the big fight and that is again pacquiao. valero denied the fight so did marquez. while nate campbell is chasing a bigger prize than guzman.

i dont see his career going to top.

What's the point if he's moving up in weight without a reputation to precede him? What he needs to do is stay in a division long enough to fight a significant opponent, beat that guy, then start calling everyone out.
