During an interview with G.Leon on Btalk, Bob Arum was asked the same question, and his reply was: "We all saw what happened the last time i made an offer to Floyd. When Floyd shows interest in the fight, then we can talk numbers" I'll try to find the transcripts to that interview.

Listen dood, you, me and Stevie Wonder can SEE that a Mayweather-Cotto is way BIGGER than a Mayweather-Margarito. Arum knows that the May-Cotto is the BIGGEST fight to make. Barely....

He won pretty much every round other than 2..... he just didn't look that great doing it. Never count a fighter out, I counted Calzaghe out everytime he had a close fight and looked bad.... against Reid, Bika, Sheika etc.. right after the Bika fight he dominated Kessler etc.. after Reid it was Lacy. Fighter can often surprise but i do think Hatton has two fights left in him at most and thats only if he learns to move his head again.
