Rewatching that moment Hatton looked a lot less hurt this time and he was being pushed down. The ref may have made a meal out of the warning but I still think that the shoelace thing was incidental. Hatton looked OK going back to the corner.

Cortez was one sided. Foster was not. Foster was adequate as a referee, but it wasn't as though it was a fiery encounter that needed prominent officiating.

Hatton doled out ten rounds of one-sided beating but predictably you have seen an opportunity to grasp a perceived controversy to try and sully the whole performance. Hatton got hit too much and twice was hurt, but ultimately it was of no consequence.

Of course you are still sore that Hatton beat Tszyu, so it would be a stretch to expect objectivity from you. I'm a fan of Hatton so I'm not going to be the most objective poster about his fights, but at least I have the cojones to admit it. Bruce.
