** Don't know what the problem is with some of you chaps other than you don't know the first thing about boxing and emote like teenage girls.

Cortez was an embarrassment. This ref allowed them to clinch and infight and break themselves mostly. Lazcano actually did better in the clinches, when he wasn't hurt, speaking of which, the ref stopped the action on a few occasions when he was hurt to warn him about holding which saved him from Hatton breaking away and maybe getting the KO.

The alleged hurt Hatton period comes after Lazcano looks ready to go after terrible punishment. Instead of crediting Lazcano putting together a magnificient stand at the gates of Hell that did rock Hatton, you chaps, WHERES BLACK JES WHO STARTED THIS MALARKEY, you dear chaps act like Hatton was done in.

Going to the corner after the ref breaks for Laz pulling him down and hitting, a regular break practiced a dozen times every week by refs across this country, Hatton does a little stumble as he steps on the loose lace. He looks down and starts holding his boot up, a legit equipment fix.

Hatton's style precludes a masterclass performance description, but he completely dominates and has Lazcano out on his feet a half dozen times or more in the bout. All credit to Juan for a truly brave performance he could have pulled the plug on several times with nobody the wiser.
Much ado over nothing but for a few dolts who are probably anarchists breaking windows and burning cars when they ain't creating mountains out of molehills.

The bigger disgrace was Paulie and N'dou. Paulie looks and hits like a girl, and N'dou looks like Tarzan and fights like Jane.

Boxing needs more Hattons and Lazcanos willing to scrap. Let the Black Jes go stare at statues of boxers in the park since they like posers.

Love him, or hate him Hatton attracts more fans than Floydy does in the USA.

i don't know if it saved hatton from defeat, but it did save him from getting knocked down and embarrassed in front of his hometown crowd.

lazcano really wasn't letting his hands go enough during the fighg, maybe the long layoff, maybe he was intimidated in front of the crowd, who knows, all i do know is that lazcano had many opportunities in the fight and didn't take any of them.
first of all, his punch out put was nil compared to what it normally is.
second, the right hand was there to hit hatton clean all night long. either lead right hand, jab right hand, double jab right hand, it was there all night to land clean on hatton and lazcano didn't even attempt to throw it but once or twice.
third, the left hook was there, and lazcano threw it, but that is all he threw so hatton knew it was coming, and even when he got hit by it, he knew that was all that was coming. the left hook did damage, but imagine had lazcao put together some combos with is, instead of his shoe shining and his hands in his pockets.....

the ref calling time out was a joke, but it wouldn't have changed anything really, if it wasn't the shoe, it was going to be a mouth piece, or it was going to be tape on the glove coming loose, etc, get the picture. it was to keep hatton from getting embarrassed, hatton could've gotten knocked down 5 times in that fight and probably still won.
i thought hatton did a good job, a bit sloppy, as i said before, i thought his balance and defense were ****e and i did say and still will say that i think hatton should look at getting another trainer, someine who can help him detail some things that graham isnt doing, also, giving some freshness to his game, after being with someone for so long things kind of get overlooked. it's like having the same workout over and over again, after a while it's not going to be as effective as it once was in the beggining, you have to mix it up to keep things fresh and help grow. hatton might train like a mad man and get into great shape but if it's the same old thing over and over again, it's going to not be as effective. its like eating the same meal everyday, you need a change after a while or otherwise the food isnt going to be satisfying anymore and would probably lead to poor performance......

Plain to see where views are coming from bias always shines through , especially concerning Brits and British fighters , and you try to come across as objective , now thats funny

Look at the video a couple of pages back, Lazcano is cleary pushing Hattons head down. What do you want the ref to do just stand and do nothing? After the ref gave Lazcano the warning he was willing to let the fight continue until Hatton brought the lace to his attention. should the ref let the fight start again while Hatton's lace is undone? Hatton may have been hurt but he was'nt close to getting KOed. Just watch the video

Besides which I thought that Ricky "lol the hugman lol" Hatton would be disadvantaged by breaks, so your theory is in complete contradiction to Hatton's reputation.
not theory observation, please be objective youve been on here long enough and seen plenty of boxing to know that the referee was biased towards Hatton. I've seen worse but it was obvious. Another good example was Cortez favoring of Mayweather in the Hatton fight. That don't make it right tho. a duck is a duck you know?
