It is amazing how you see a fighter age in one night.

For three rounds probably that would be accurate.

Hatton got hit far too much but at the same time he didn't gas in the middle to late round and I think that was the key worry.
Actually, the key worry is the amount that he got hit. Laz has never been a puncher. The fatthat he can rock RH is majorly troubling. Imagine a faster-handed fighter (Witter, malignaggi, mayweather, Bradley) and how often they would hit him.

Malignaggi is less concerning cause he has ***** mitts.

The hatton-Tszyu fight never looked like 8/9/10 of FMJ-RH.

i dont think he is shot, but he is on the down side of his career. he already peaked imo. he was punching hard...i dont doubt that, but in overall he was a little slower, a little more tire than he should be and most importan, he ate a lot of punches...too much imo. a rematch with mayweather would turn out to be a mayweather taking hatton to boxing school. i dont think lazcano is a bad fighter, but he shouldnt have given that many problems to hatton.

I think Hatton did his best work when Lazcano was opening up, the rest of the time Juan was spoiling and holding. I'm not so sure that a faster handed fighter like Witter would actually cause significantly more problems. It's tough to speculate anyway, Lazcano is a stand-still-throw-punches kind of guy. Witter spends most of his fights staring at the opponent and feinting. Hatton won't give him the break to do it. I don't think that Ricky looked great but he still utterly dominated and walked through some big punches. I just think that his resistance is falling and of course his air of invulnerability is a distant memory.

I was thinking 7-8-9. Hatton seemed to get his head back into things in the tenth and was doing alright, which really goes to credit Floyd more because Hatton had taken way more punishment in the preceeding rounds but Floyd picked his spot perfectly. Regardless those rounds of the Mayweather fight were indeed a "dismantling". But Hatton-Tszyu was only a "dismantling" in the same way that a wrecking ball "dismantles" as building.

Hatton had a poor performance against Collazo, Mayweather, and Lazcano. That's 3 of his last 5 fights. Nobody is shot. It's called stepping up in competition. Tszyu was a great night for him. He was on fire, but he also took clean punches that night.

When he steps up in competition he's hittable. He won the fight clearly, but got rocked a couple of times. Lazcano was clearly more game than Castillo.

The truth is Hatton is overrated and vastly overhyped all of his career. The truth is he beat an old, creaky Kostya Tszyu, a shot to hell Castillo and was out on his feet against a mediocre Collazzo and put to sleep in an ugly way from one punch against Mayweather.

Hatton=overrated and overhyped B- fighter. He is not, nor ever was an elite fighter. His style is ugly and the only thing he brings to the table is a great English fanbase. He is the equivalent of England's boxing ****egirls.

                      lmao xD ....

i agree with you btw....hatton is overated but he is still a very good fighter. you could say he is the worst of the elite fighters, or the best of the good fighters...something like that. i respect him, but at least after tonight he is no way a top ten p4p at least on my list.
