It is amazing how you see a fighter age in one night.

i believe the problem is hattons ballooning up between fights and then just rapidly cutting the weight off......saps his stamina and ages his body prematurely, its the reason why he hasnt looked so flash in recent outings....

      consider this:

mayweather, (now fighting at welterweight but probably a natural light welter nowadays ) walks around at 158-160 lbs

hatton walks around at about 170-180 lbs (as high as 188)........

who do you think is the more professional fighter, and who will have more longevity in the fight game and better overall health??

i wouldn't say hatton is shot but but i do think coming down in weight 50 lbs before every fight will hurt him more and more as he gets older. a 25 year old can do that but not after 30. james toney had to lose as much as 70 lbs before some fights and it's certainly aged him, u can't keep abusing ur body and expect to have a long career

its not that Hatton is shot... more like he's been exposed by Floyd where other boxers can now take notes of his flaws/weaknesses...although he decisively beat Lazcano, I did see Hatton catch a few check hooks in the fight...or shots while lunging in...
