I am a huge Hatton fan and know enough about boxing to see that he is in decline at a relatively early age. He has been through too many wars. Look at how fast Fernando Vargas went from sharp to shot fighting like he did. Hatton even said it after the fight. He is a better boxer than people give him credit for but his ego or something makes him brawl. This is why he gets 55k in attendance the guy is a WARRIOR. He really didnt look Shot at all looked like the same old hatton it sjust lazcano know that he was suspect to the check hook and he kept throwing it.
He looked the same to me as when he fought floyd jr...he basically started gassing the same time and getting hit with the counter left hook.

I think you're a good poster en all but I noticed you've had Hatton in your should be retired section for ages now. Me thinks you're view really influences your perspective on this fight.

Because age doesn't mean anything. Lifestyle and style of fighting mean much more. You have people like Vargas who was shot at 28, Wilfred Benitez, who was shot at 24, Mike Tyson on the decline at 23, etc. Then you have guys like Hopkins, with all their big wins coming after age 36, Foreman winning a title at 45, Archie Moore winning a title at 44, etc.

Mayweather is still in his prime. Hatton, clearly, is not.
