But lets just wait for it to get just ripe enough, lets get that many more haters, doubters.

they go ass far as discredit every opponent in his 39 streak.
Wont the win be that much more embarassing for them, and wont it earn him that much more money, if he takes his time, and takes a ride on Oscar.
Not rush to it like a ****** *****. Hes p4p, not cupid *****.
His name is money not margarita.
    ************************************

exactly…..another good point. Why not let cotto get his dollars up and fight margarito, while u make 25 mil in the process??? Am I missing something here??? Has that fight already happened, and floyd has said he's not fighting the winner already??? No. so until we cross that bridge, all this whining is ridiculous, and it makes a lot of u look foolish. and i got news for you. dlh, even a lil past his prime, aint no easy fight, **** what u heard. he'd still beat the **** outta margo, and if not the same with cotto, it'd be a very close, split decision. u ppl need to wake the **** up, while dlh is not dlh from even 3 yrs ago, a mayweather-dlh 2 is not the same as taking a mayweather-baldomir 2, so quit hating. the funny thing is, all these posters saying they have no reason to see the fight WILL undoubtedly be watching. whether u buy it yourself or go somewhere else, u'll be watching. ppl are so hypocritical, its funny!!!

      That's the problem with Cotto..

He's content to hide behind Arum..

He should be trying to get AWAY from Top Rank

Why should he have to get rid of a Top Notch Promoter to make the fight? seriously the only reason why your saying that is becuase its some dumb **** Floyd would say, Look we know Floyd dont like Arum but to say Cotto is hiding behind Arum is out right bull****, and to prove it to you, When has Floyd offered Cotto a fight? Never so how could you say he is hiding behind Arum?

The De La Hoya match up is pointless and I don't really care if Floyd wins it. Great boxers prove themselves, cowards take the money while they can. Floyd knows, as do all real fight fans, that Cotto has a real good odds on chance of sending him to retirment with a loss on his record. If Floyd were not a coward he would try to prove us wrong.
Cotto and Margarito would fight Oscar a dozen times if they had half the chance..

Ain't got **** to do with guts..

Oscar KNOWS he can make more fighting Floyd than Cotto or Marge.

If anybody is a coward its COTTO..

The guy KILLS HIMSELF to make 147 so he can FIGHT SMALLER GUYS..

If he had balls he'd be at 154 or 160 where he belongs.

Since when did people all of us sudden start believing this fat ****?
Why the hell should I believe anything this crook ass ****er has to say. Nobody in boxing likes this guy. And isnt insulting the fighter something that the fighters should do. If he is going to talk ****, then he should step in the ring. Im sure Floyd would be ok with letting Bob tip the scales at 220 lbs. and still fight him. Remember, dont talk **** if you are not going to do anything.

This is really nothing that anyone who has followed boxing over the last decade doesn't already know. Of course Floyd wants to avoid tough fights. He's in boxing for the money and the prestige, and if he can get them without having to face real risk (Margarito, Cotto, etc) then he's going to. And really, there's nothing wrong with that. We've come to expect more from our boxing heroes, but sometimes they aren't heroes. They're just guys trying to make money. Naked ambition and self-preservation aren't necessarily bad things, because we all have the exact same tendencies. Some fighters can't stand if fans/media/other fighters, etc say another guy is the best, or could beat them, or whatever. Holyfield, Tyson, Leonard, etc. Those guys were not just the best of their times, and fearless, they were boxing heroes. Money and fame were more byproducts of their desire to be the best, be declared the best, to destroy all challenges, no matter how high the risk/reward ratio. Then there's the other class: Roy Jones, Floyd Mayweather, etc- guys who want to be known as the best, but if they can avoid a tough fight, and still make money and still find somebody that will call them the best, then they will by all means do it. If less risk comes with a little more criticism, that's ok for them, as long as they money is there, and they get a win. Because they believe at the end of their career, it's the wins history will remember them by, not the dodged challenges along the way. But of course, the real fans remember.

FLoyd is still champ because he earned it, his the P4P champ for a reason... Cotto or Marg will get there shot sooner or later either against Floyd or someone else After floyd retires or is defeated... Cotto is most likely the favorite, and would give Floyd a hell of a fight.. but if FLoyd doesnt wanna continue to fight oonly fight "one more great fight" against ODLh then let him, but dont discredit him for it, SRL isnt critizied for duking Pryor like this! Floyd would kill anyone of thses cats anyway
