If you say you knew then I guess you did. All I could hear is how Hatton was going to put on a Castillo but worse. Then when "Floyds Boys" or the "Gayweather Fans" would say Floyd would KO him. I don't even have to say what backlash they received...

What happened to the day when the fighter got knocked out and didn't blame anyone but themselves. Ricky didn't blame anybody that night nor should his idiot trainer. Ricky lost because he does not fight well at 147. He is not that strong and has bad movement at 147. At 140 he is just as good if not better than any fighter. Joe Cortez is a a good ref. There are a few refs that I don't like but just because you don't the officiating that you like doesn't mean its not fair.

Well Castillo was shot when he fought Hatton plus there were loads of legal issues he had going into the fight. legit knock out for Ricky but you cant make much of it considering the punishment in recent fights that Castillo took especially the Corrales fight.
Floyd fans predicted a kayo becuase that is what they do **** they will swear that Margarito will get stopped by Floyd if they ever fight so that isnt a surprise.
But hatton fans could only give Ricky a slight chance and that is only if Ricky some how picked up a defense between his fight with Castillo and this fight and if the weight would really work for him this time I dont think it went to well last time round at 147 so why would they think other wise?
anyhow I was watching the 24/7 series and you can see Ricky loading up with wide ass shots and leaping in with that hook every time he did that he would bring that right hand down and knowing like I said earlier knowing what kind of fighter Floyd was, this was his ticket, he wasnt looking to counter the body shot he showed Ricky that on 24/7 to get him thinking counter right upper cut, Nah~ that was a smoke screen Floyd knew that the left hook was the money shot.

Think VERY hard about it. And maybe, just maybe, YOU will catch the meaning.
This thread has got to be a joke. You know, busting somebodies balls type of deal.

Otherwise, ****TARD, (you see how I can cuss too) this is all you can do is IMAGINE. Could have, should have, maybe...

Graham is in a dreamworld if he really believes Cortez was the difference in that fight.

there were a million differences..... and all of them evidenced the gulf in quality between Floyd and Ricky.

The dude talked so much **** pre-fight, he is trying to find some way to save face.
Too bad he just looks like a whiner.

Hatton didn't get beat. He got dominated and KOTFO. I don't care what ref you have in there, the result would of been the same. You've got to be British to not be able to admit it to yourself.

Look I dont know how far you made it in school, But I said, No he does not deserve a rematch and yes I feel that Cortez did not do a good job he did not do his job, How many times did Floyd use that elbow in the fight? how many times did Joe warn Floyd? Zero even when he was looking right at Floyd doing it I am sorry but there should be warnings and or points taken for repeated violations that didnt happen.
Some of you said right here that Floyd tied Ricky up on the inside, So why the **** was Cortez warning Ricky for holding and not Floyd who in some of you alls words was the one tying Ricky up?
my point is he has a right to argue about the treatment he got here in the states, would it have changed the out come? Hell no, but the point here is simple if your fighting in the biggest fight of your career you want to leave the fight knowing that you gave it your all, and that you were given a fair shot, Period, when your risking injury that is the very least someone should recieve Ricky just didnt get that from Joe and I think its time to hold the refs resonsible for their actions or lack there of.

Thats very biased because you make false points ,, Cortez did warn Floyd for elbows , forearms held defensively are not against the rules of boxing , he also was continually warning both for holding and was continually telling both to keep it clean , he didnt stop the action and give verbal warnings every time but you can hear him clearly throughout the fight warning both fighters , Ricky was bustling pushing in and wrestling and most important not punching so was causing most of the mess himself , Floyd rode the wave untill the piss and wind had settled and then created some distance and took him apart , all Hatton had to do was punch on the inside , he didnt so why is it Floyds fault for tieing him up and why is Cortez's fault for being forced by the rules of boxing to break them , he was a little on the hair trigger side because that fight could have gotten out of control quite easy , Ive seen far worse jobs than what Cortez did in this fight it wasnt perfect but it wasnt that bad , either way it had no bearing on Floyd being the way better fighter .

Most ( 95% ) of the breaks were forced on Cortez and caused by Hatton , if Hatton wanted to officially complain he would be laughed out of the office , get real mate .
