Did hatton not just say on his TV show that Floyd was just too good for him? Seemed like he was accepting the loss pretty well from hearing him talk on his show.

Graham and Hatton are delusional and annoying the way they use Cortez as an excuse. They wanted the same treatment Tszyu got.

Graham is trying to cover his butt because he kept saying how Hatton would be too strong for Floyd (see vids below). That was their key tactic.... to maul Floyd inside.

Even Ricky said on 24/7 that "Floyd is not daft. If he comes inside, he'll be eaten".

First thing Hatton said after the fight? "He was much better inside than I expected."

        Uh, ya think?

I thought the ref was a bit too involved, but I think Mayweather wins that night regardless.

HATTON and GRAHAM need to wake up.HATTON was LUCKY to get a GIFT DECISION when he fought LUIS COLLAZO ,who was deystroyed by a 35 yer old MOSLEY.I was at the COLLAZO/HATTON fight and let me say HATTON is the most ovverrated lb for lb fighter EVER in my opinion,he has little power a weak chin, small arms, all he has is a workrate and his CHEAP HIT and HOLD TACTIC,HATTON,RUIZ,KLITSHKO,and HOPKINS all should not be allowed to use that illigeal TACTIC of hit and HOLD.Whats truly funny to me is that BILLY GRAHAM has the b***s to blame CORTEZ,what would your fighters record be if RICKY wasn't allowed to hit and HOLD all fight. In my opinion MAYWEATHER would knockout RICKY within 3 if they fight again. It took MAYWEATHER 7 rounds to finally realize HATTON didn't have the power to hurt him and he had the POWER to hurt HATTON.I believe he will be throwin hard immediatly in the rematch ,now knowing HATTON doesn't have much power .Listen ,I recently saw the GATTI-MAYWEATHER fight and let me just say GATTI took MORE and HARDER punches in the first 3 rounds than HATTON did all night.MAYWEATHER was teeing off with everything he had.Lets also not forget MAYWEATHER/GATTI used 8 ounze gloves as oppose to MAYWEATHER/HATTON 's 10 ounzes.I just think HATTON's power and chin are vastly overrated, and if JUAN LAZCANO is given a fair shake(yea right)it wouldn't suprise me if he ko'd HATTON.

there really are some numbnuts on here, to all who know boxing and can manage to be impartial, it was obvious that Cortez's refereeing did Hatton no favours and was not the best example of officiating ever seen.
However, and this is where the impartiality comes in ... as i am a massive Hatton fan .... Floyd ****ed him up that night, yes Cortez did not help matters but it wasnt him who lost his temper and couldnt change his game plan or hide his frustration. That, coupled with Floyds undeniable ability is what did for Hatton on the night. IMO Hatton would be the one who learnt more from this fight and unlike many i think the rematch, should it ever happen would be closer. I would like to see if Floyd has the cahonies to come to the UK and fight in Hattons backyard.

If you're really so talented, why not just adopt a different gameplan? Must be embarrassing to refer to yourself as "Mr. Pressure" and get destroyed on the inside by a "boring" boxer who only "runs".
Simple: because his arms are 3" shorter than Mayweathers. (each arm) There is no option to fight on the outside.

explain to me exactly how Cortez made the difference.

when Ricky got to "fight his fight"..... or "wrestle his fight"..... he still got outclassed and outsmarted.

its there on video..... clear as day.

so the point deduction made poor Ricky panic?

like he wouldnt have been panicking anyway?

lets pretend there was no point deduction..... Hatton would still have been way behind on the cards come the 10th..... even Ricky isnt so deluded that he wouldnt have known this in his heart..... he would have been desperate and careless by that point in the fight, with or without the point off.

the "point deduction" and "they didnt let me fight my fight" talk are just bitter excuses.
HEY! Stop writing in those huge ass letters. That **** is annoying!
