What they forget is that the super-middleweight division has only been around for the last 25 years. All the greats only passed throught that weight class and moved on up. James Toney might be the only one who stayed for a good period of time there but even he now has moved up and won a cruiserweight title and slugged it out with some of the best heavyweights around showing his all-time great skills. Could Joe the super-middleweight do that? I doubt it. That slapping **** wouldn't hold up above 175 and he and his promoter Warren knew it. If they had confidence in Joe's abilities, they would have had him crossing that pond a long time ago unstead of milking his title, selling out arenas locally for 10 years.

I rather go down as one of the greatest middleweight - a division that produced some great champions like Hagler, Monzon etc,. then be hiding out at super-middle defening a WBO title pretending to be a champion.

I guess that's how Zolte Erdei plans to make an impact in the light-heavy division. Defens his WBO title in Germany against nobodies while the best light-heavies Dawson, Tarver, Glen Johnson, Jones all fight each other.

And once they're all gone, he will come out of the woodwork claiming to be the best because he has 10 or 12 title defenses in the bank.
