Do British Posters Overhype Their Fighters?

I think Calzaghe is the most overhyped and overrated fighter right now. These guys will have you thinking Calzaghe is a draw and that he should be #1 P4P after beating a 43-year-old fighter. What a joke. He has surpassed Hatton since he was exposed by Mayweather. These Brits will also have you thinking Amir Khan will fight a real fighter some time soon when he's really 10-15 fights and a few years away from fighting fringe contenders...

Well, that 43year old fighter he just beat was ahead of him on P4P rankings, so if you don't give him credit for it, shows how much you know about boxing.

Yeah, because Calzaghe's resume is such a ****ing joke. His padded record isn't enough for him to be considered a P4P fighter unless you're impressed by wins over washed up or unproven fighters. His best win is Kessler and that fight only happened because Kessler agreed to fight in Joke's backyard. Calzaghe will never leave the UK for a risky fight...

Again, he left the UK to fight an opponent who was ranked higher than him P4P. If B-Hop was washed up, he would not have been ranked so highly.

                  Abso-****in-lutely they overhype their guys.

They're just searching for one great fighter who can measure up to our great fighters in skills, athleticism etc,.

From the begining of time we had the Sugar Ray Robinson, the Ali, The Leonard's, the Haglers, The Foreman's, the Tyson's, the Roy Jones's etc,.

So when they have one guy with a unbeaten record (example: Ricky Hatton) they go miles above to pump this guy up into something he is not because they have so lil talent out there. They go soccer fans crazy for their guys, something we don't do. Then the cartoonish knockout happened to Ricky and it's over.

Calzaghe got away by a hair in the Hopkins fight and now I can't wait until he gets in there with Jones. So he can make him look like an amateur and seperate the semi-greats from The greats like RJJ.
