These Brits will also have you thinking Amir Khan will fight a real fighter some time soon when he's really 10-15 fights and a few years away from fighting fringe contenders...
Dude, you crack me up. Your avatar and photo of Hatton knocked the **** out with OWNED flashing, is some awesome ****. Yeah, they do over hype there fighters. Hatton had no business in with our P4P king, and Calz has a bad rap because he never came here to fight a top fighter. He is good but not in the same class as our top fighters in his weight class. Sure, he came over now, but that's because he knows time is running out to make those big money fights. And the fact that everyone is old now. Sorry but that's what it looks like to me. Haye may be way over hyped as well, but at least he's willing to move forward. The guy has guts and my respect. Ricky has my respect to, he just could never beat a Floyd Mayweather jr.

Jones probably until Joe wins and then you'll say Jones is washed up it doesn't count!!!
Why not try posting something positive you nobend
You don't think Roy Jones is washed up? Calzaghe ducked him in his prime because RJJ would have humiliated him.

You turn your guys into something they're not because they happen to have a 44-0 record like Ricky or now Joe.

It was nice to see a few cats leave this place after their hero Hatton got knocked out. They were pumpin this lil fella up like he was god.
These guys will have you thinking every fighter out of their country is a Tye Fields.

They're just searching for one great fighter who can measure up to our great fighters in skills, athleticism etc,.

From the begining of time we had the Sugar Ray Robinson, the Ali, The Leonard's, the Haglers, The Foreman's, the Tyson's, the Roy Jones's etc,.

So when they have one guy with a unbeaten record (example: Ricky Hatton) they go miles above to pump this guy up into something he is not because they have so lil talent out there. They go soccer fans crazy for their guys, something we don't do. Then the cartoonish knockout happened to Ricky and it's over.

Calzaghe got away by a hair in the Hopkins fight and now I can't wait until he gets in there with Jones. So he can make him look like an amateur and seperate the semi-greats from The greats like RJJ.

Once Mayweather showed them how much of a bum Hatton really is, they all have now jumped on the Calzaghe bandwagon. Is it a coincidence that they are impressed by another British fighter who barely beat a washed up fighter and also has a padded resume full of bums he fought in his hometown? I swear, this **** is just like a cycle. Britain just doesn't product world class fighters. They are regional champs at best...
The way I see it.......we are the capital of boxing. You wanna be the best, you have to come over here and fight the best.....simple as that. Lennox Lewis proved himself and will go down as one of the greats. He came over here and fought the Holyfields and the Tyson's and won.

Just like Soccer. You wanna compete with the best soccer players in the world, you don't come to America. Matter fact, anywhere but America. Europe, Brazil is where it's at.

I wasn't one of them. I'm sure the Floyd fans were doing the same.

The British definitely overhype and overrate their fighters....Look at David Haye for example, he knocked out some bums in the ****tiest division in boxing, the cruiserweight division....Now all these ****ing UK idiots are saying he will clean out the heavyweight division and become the undisputed champ...What a bunch of dellusional morons.

Of course we do, but so do all groups of boxing fans on earth, its not just British people. US fans hype up their fighters just as badly, and believe that boxers from the rest of the world simply aren't on their level. That's what leads to the conflict you see on these boards.

Out of interest though, what on earth do you have against British people? you literally never post about anything else!

Probably not since Calzaghe won't leave the UK for a risky fight. If he wouldn't leave for Kessler, why in the hell would anyone think he'd come out of hiding for a prime RJJ?
