Help Please! What is the reason for the Mexican/Puerto Rican dislike?

The difference is that the speedy gonzalez character was a creation of Joe,Tom, and Hank in some hollywood studio. The minguin **** was a Mexican invention , that depicted the main vharacter in a demeaning and disrespectful manner that was the norm in many early 20th century american publications.

If the character is supposed to be the good guy, why draw him in that fashion when the rest of the charcters are drawn in regular human features? **** aint right.

I sincerely doubt that. I know the attitudes towards Blacks going way back in the Mexican and Mexican American community. Definately, America was and is extremely racist against the Mexican/Mexican American people. Every day on the news, especially Fox News, they run stories to try and upset the American people and make them angry at Mexican Americans and Mexican immigrants. There is a full scale political war being waged.

Personally, it's an insult to people of intelligence.
