Do you guys honestly think Arum would match Cotto against someone he could lose to and risk a huge payday against either Mayweather or DLH? I don't. Boxing is a business, and Bob Arum is one of the smartest and most conniving people in the sport today. He's well aware that Cotto is the superior fighter and that the public will see this as a tough fight when, in fact, it should be an easy UD victory for Cotto.

If Margo wins, he won't be able to make Margarito-DLH or Margarito-PBF, so he stands to lose millions if Cotto doesn't beat Margo. Like in every fight, Margarito has a chance to win, but I'd give him 2.5-1 odds, at best. The foot speed, hand speed, and defensive advantages all go to Cotto and I think they will be all the difference.

well DLH did say he would fight margarito. He said he wants to fight the best and that if it was margarito that he would fight margarito. He even mentioned another tito bout and a floyd and a Cotto so its up in the air after floyd. PBF did say on tape he would fight margarito but he wanted the fight to build up. He shook margaritos hand and looked him straight in the eye and told him he'll get his chance. it will be bigger and better later he said. So if he beats Cotto margarito could use the tape to remind floyd he gave margarito his word and handshake that he would fight him down the road when it would be bigger and better. here's the vid:

No they are different... they throw different punches, they throw a different amount of punches, different skills (footwork, defense, timing all go to chavez big timw). Castillo fights a lot more similar to JC than Margarito does.

Anyway like I said I got your main point in the 1st post and I agree, but the similar points are just that they are both slow, mexicans and have hell of a chin. That is true for *most* mexican fighters.

I am going with margarito by 8th round tko he will be on cotto early and will beat him down in a very tough fight. margarito has been in with stronger punchers then cotto and has the x-factor cotto better be wary of called durability. if cott doesn't stick and move (how can he with the shorter reach) then this is margarito's fight
