Julio Cesar Chavez was a lot quicker and had better balance. Chavez's punches were quick as hell when he got in close. I admire Chavez's technique, which was underrated. He fought a lot like Cotto in the way that he stalked people behind a high guard. Chavez also had an underrated defense.
Margarito is no Chavez.Comment

Thanks, but I'm well aware of the details. How the words strike you is one thing but Santos fighting sharper and more deadly against Margarito than virtually anyone else he's ever faced adds up to some colorful language.
Fighting like a murderer and murdering or having murdered someone are competely different things.Comment

Come full circle...
Margarito won't be able to fight like a big man...
Because he doesn't know how to...
Plus Cotto is just small enough where he'll take an advantage in it...
Margarito will have his head down and forward...
Perfect for some Cotto left hooks to detach it from its place...Comment
