Hopkins was never undisputed light heavyweight champion, so yes, it is up for debate, because it's not true. Calzaghe is not a light heavyweight champion. Hopkins has only had the IBO light heavyweight belt which isn't a sanctioning body.

The titles were unified by Jones thjen they splintered because Tarver refused to pay sanctoin fee's on all the soups. Yes Tarver was undisputed champ, yes Hopkins was undisputed champ and yes Calzaghe is undisputed champ.
