Fair enough if you are not counting the WBO then who are supposed number 1 fighters in division by country?

    US 4
    UK 3
    Mexico 2
    Philippines 2
    Ukraine 1
    Romania 1
    Indonesia 1
    Japan 1
    Venezuela 1

      Exactly so its BS.

In reality the UK owns 4 divisions with America owning two. The rest are all soup champions.

The point is that you have no boxers at all. Even boxers that weren`t even born in the US you try and claim in the sad attempt to prove you are number 1. Like Oscar.

So lets be honest here, stop waving your flag, because everyone in the rest of the world knows it doesn`t mean a damn thing. Even Ali wouldn`t fight for the US because he knew what a load of BS it is.

        discuss.
We have the flat out Best boxer in the World.

And he's greater than maybe twenty times all of Europe's greatest fighters who still breathe oxygen.

4? Haye Calzaghe Hatton and then who???

and Haye is going to Heavy so technically that Cruiserweight spot is vacant again, so it would be open for Cunningham, Enzo, Adamek or Mormeck.

but I was always impressed with how well Britain did for themselves in boxing, cause theyre not that huge of a country. keep up the good work yall.

Yes 4. Calzaghe owns 168 and 175. For now anyway.

The information I provided is from the Ring Magazine and it's my understanding they do not recognize the WBO.

eh, I dont know if thats fair. you can only be in 1 weight class at a time, otherwise you could technically consider Mayweather the king at 140 and 147, which wouldnt be fair at all, although the circumstances are a little different.

I dunno, I always thought that when you changed weight classes you should automatically relinquish your champion status at the previous weight.

Mayweather never fought for Hattons title at 140 though. Calzaghe WON the titles at the two weights. Fair and square.

Look at the ring rankins, he owns both divisions.

Obviously Joe will have to give one of his titles up though as you state before his next fight, but as it stands.....

Calzaghe didn't win a title at light heavyweight. The RING belt isn't a world title, it's a magazine trinket.
