THANK YOU! i appreciate what the ring has attempted to do with their champions/ranking system, but the ring belt is not a world title.

The point is that you have no boxers at all. Even boxers that weren`t even born in the US you try and claim in the sad attempt to prove you are number 1. Like Oscar.

So lets be honest here, stop waving your flag, because everyone in the rest of the world knows it doesn`t mean a damn thing. Even Ali wouldn`t fight for the US because he knew what a load of BS it is.

              discuss.

The Ring belt is no less meaningful than any of the other 4 that people pay attention to. They're all worthless in my opinion.

Calzaghe beat the man(Hopkins) who beat the man (Tarver) who beat the man(Jones) who was the undisputed, linear light-heavyweight champion of the world. That makes Calzaghe the linear champ.

Considering that Foreman vs Briggs was for the linear heavyweight championship I don't think that's all that important, but there you go.

Calzaghe isn't a Light Heavyweight champion and that's a fact.

I was just mentioning a few other facts. As I said, I don't value the belts and so it doesn't matter to me.

                      BS.

Calzaghe is the linear champion at 175, the soups mean nothing!

The ring title goes to the linear champion in the division, its easily the most respected of any the belts these days and its the one the fighters want to fight for.

The linear championship at 175 has went from Jones, to Tarver, to Johnson, Back to Tarver, then to Hopkins and now to Calzaghe.

As i said, he owns two divisions. Your opinion means **** all to this fact.
