Lee was not the greatest the greatest fighter was probably an unknown Shaolin Monk especially since Shaolin Monks practice harness chi together with their fighting skills day in and day out.
If you are going against a person that can feel and even see energy building up in you before its final output (ie: punch) then you are at a disadvantage no matter who you are.
The funny thing about Shaolin Monks is they were one of the groups in the beginning who were against Lee's teachings. Thirty years later they're now teaching wrestling, grappling, boxing on top of the traditional animal forms.

But I don't think a Monk in his time would've taken Lee. All they studied at the time were the classical animal forms which Lee ironically had great defense against (mainly using grappling and wing chun)

I don't belive in that Wu-Tang, Jet Li, Dragon Ball Z, Ryu. Ken, Street Fighter, HADOUKEN type of business. I believe in the will of a man and primal instinct but I can't get down with that "Chi" ****.

        Lee could spring a 235 lb (107 kg) opponent 15 feet (4.6 metres) away with a 1 inch punch.[47]
        Whaaa!?

What would that prove? There are loads of people I wouldn't want to fight/I would probably lose a fight against.

Yea that was a lil far fetched...

He did push people back quite a bit while demonstrating the one inch punch...but was more 3-4ft as opposed to 15

So I guess the revolutionary war never happened Neither did the civil war. Most of what happens isn't recorded, it's eyewitness accounts and consistent info from them that makes things true.

The man was a revolutionary to martial artists, there is no question there. But to claim he is the greatest fighter without fighter the greatest fighters doesn’t make any sense what’s so ever. Bruce Lee simply wouldn’t create enough power to hurt a heavyweight let alone a middleweight. Bruce Lee is highly regarded because he made movies and had few interviews and does some exhibition fight. It funny how Shaolin Monks are dismissed like they nothing, by some posters. Simply I sum up my view. You can’t be a greatest fighter without having a title or even fighting against greatest fighters in your era, beating Chuck Norris on a movie doesn’t count. Then to claim that he would beat one of the best heavyweights is outlandish and mind-boggling. Also none of his fights were ever recorded hence how can people talk about what would he do in a fight. Most of Bruce Lee amazing feats were people’s own explanation of what happened. If they are to believed, then why all are alien sighting and abduction dismissed immediately. Bruce Lee CAN never been proved he was the greatest fighter ever. Simple where is the Evidence. Don’t say watch his documentaries then I just say watch the alien ones has more followers.
