      You got me there. And I agree. Kessler has a great jab too and Calzaghe still found a way around that. All I'm saying is that it's gonna take more to beat Calzaghe than a dependable jab and a textbook 1-2.

          Joe vs Pavlik would be very nice fight, maybe the best one available out there, but there are others that make sense as well.

          I'd say:
          Roy Jones Jr. - still one of the best, big money fight, adds nicely to the legacy.
          Winner of Dawson/Tarver - unified champion, top fighter at the division.
          Cris Byrd - after proves himself in the division, he adds a lot to the legacy and may be a big money fight.

            Pavlik brings nothing new to Calzaghe's table. Hopkins brought something he hasn't experienced before in his ring smarts, tactics and spoiling style, so Calzaghe looked bad in that fight, but against Pavlik he'd look a lot better. I still can't pick a winner though since Pavlik has the power to beat Joe if he lands enough, and he does tend to land a lot more than the average power puncher.
