If I was Roy I'd just take like 30-70 and shut up...

Please verify when this offer was made. A link would be nice, not hearsay.

Then, explain why a Pavlik fight is bigger. Provide facts to substantiate this.

      Thank you.

You ought to know by now John that the worst threads get the most replies on here.

Joe, you didn't look that great in this last fight, Jones is a legend in the sport and is still a big name, the Tito fight did great, let's make the fight happen, put your ego aside and make the fight happen.

Casamayor beat an undefeated young fighter against all odds in a thrilling fight ending in a TKO stoppage. Was he even mentioned to be top 5 p4p? No.
Nate Campbell has done the same thing only by decision and also against all odds and was forgotten about the day after the fight!

This is why i consider Calzaghe and specially his fans, an insult to boxing.
            1. Calzaghe was top 5 before he fought Hopkins.
            2. It's not because he's white.
            3. You think Casamayor should be top 5 p4p for beating Katsidis?

30-70? i wouldn't dip below 40-60. Joe C will be the draw in this and Roy should be more then happy with a 40-60.

Joe C. is certainly NOT the draw but Roy is willing to take the short end of the stick (financially) anyway. So it doesn't matter.

Bottom line, there's no reason this fight shouldn't be made. They are just negotiating right now. Unless you believe Hopkins who swears Calzaghe will never fight Jones.
