What do the roaches do when you turn the lights on? what these people dont get is that I do credit Floyd and no doubt right now he is labled as the best Welter Weight and should be, but his recent choice of opponents lead me to think he is affraid of taking on the bigger challenges that are there for him.
you cant be a great with out fighting the best, and as it stands he has two tuff challengers there that will give him a fight that allows him to showcase his talent, but also other areas he has not shown people so far, does he have what it takes to dig deep in a hard fight, that you know Cotto and Margarito will give him? or does he fold, those are questions that need to be answered before he quits the sport, you cant be a great with out doing great things.

The Mosley PPV did nearly 400,000,since when was this poor numbers, thats one of the better numbers for most PPVs today

Dawson-Johnson ( a great fight ) and Tarver-Woods was on the same night

Plus UFC,one of there main guys St-Peirre(?) was fighting,i think they need to take this before they make these articals.

I've been a Mayweather fan for a long time b. I just want him to fight the best in HIS division. You know what tho, his style has changed some much from when we was younger I'm not sure he can beat the top welters with that style. He needs to bring the combos back.

The thing that is holding Cotto back, is Bob Arum....

Bob Arum is not letting Cotto take no risk in building his career...

When Bob Had Floyd.....Floyd was taking nothing but risk fights for all of his big fights..

Tell Me who in Floyd Generation Has done what Floyd has Done...??

Only Person i can say comes Close is Holyfield....
              after that who....?

You Cant put Roy Jones Past Floyd Because He resume is Completely Stack of who is that fighters...

1994-2002 Roy Jones Resume is a
              1996-2002 Floyd Mayweather
              Genaro Hernandez
              Angel Manfredy
              Diego Corrales
              Carlos Hernandez
              Jesus Chavez
              Jose Luis Castillo

Remember Floyd turn Pro in 1996

Look at it like this After only 2 years turning Pro
Floyd Mayweather was ranked 8th On the P4P List and Number 1 in his Divison.... Only 2 years after turning Pro
              (http://www.boxrec.com/media/index.ph..._Ratings:_1998)
Floyd Mayweather was ranked 2th on P4P List in Only 3 years of After turning Pro Number 1 in his Division
              (http://www.boxrec.com/media/index.ph..._Ratings:_1999)

And We all know that he has been recognized number #1 for almost 4 years now....

In a shorter period of time From a Ranking Stand Point Floyd Mayweather Has risen higher than anybody.

And that is because dude resume is Stacked...
Dude was a WBC world Champion at 21 years old and 17 fights.... not no international or state or any other bull**** title, but WBC world Champion at 21 years old

Look at this PBF stat under Bob Arum.....

              FORMER JUNIOR WELTERWEIGHT CHAMP (’05)
              FORMER LIGHTWEIGHT (2002-04)
              FORMER JR. LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMP (1998-00)
              17-0-0, 8 KO’S IN CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHTS
              9-0-0 (6) at jr. light.
              4-0-0 (1) at light.
              1-0-0 (1) at jr. welter.
              2-0-0 (0) at welter.
              1-0-0 (0) at jr. middle.
17 CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHTS HAVE LASTED 166 ROUNDS AND AVERAGED 9.8 ROUNDS
(63% of his pro rounds have been fought in championship fights)
38 FIGHTS HAVE LASTED 265 ROUNDS AND AVERAGED 7.0 ROUNDS
(45% of his fights have been championship fights)

So why haven't Arum Put Cotto on that Path Yet....
              Is my only Question...

Cotto has yet, to fight a young, prime, active, p4p fighter
and he is what 7 years into his career..?

              Here is Cotto's biggest Fights:
              36 year Shane Mosely
              and
2 year lay out Zab Judah

Cotto is finally staring to start challenge himself with Margarito, but Margarito not even a great fighter or p4p ranked....
But he is in his primeand a champion, so i will give Cotto that....

Cotto i feel has never really dare to be Great...

I am going to leave this thread on this post...
              peace

The DLH-PBF fight sold out before tickets were even available. The MGM Grand only holds 14,000 people and they sold 50,000 Closed Circuit tickets in addition, so I don't know if you can make the argument that Floyd didn't draw any fans when there was way more demand than capacity for that event.

Barely any regular folks could even get in. It was mostly a casino crowd in the arena.

Thats all i'm saying.
At the time of De La Hoya vs Trinidad theirs was a lot of people who had illegal cable boxes, and theirs was no digital cable like their is today to prevent it.

Had De La Hoya vs Trinidad take place in this time with 24/7 / Digital Cable / Golden Boy Promotions it would have done a lot more. Keep in mind you also have to adjusted for inflation.

Yo b, the Celtics smacked up everyone in the west this year with no problem. The Lakers won't even make it to the finals let alone beat the Celtics. Somewhere along these playoffs the Lakers will remember that they not that good. The Celtics starting five killed the Lakers each time they played. They have kobe thats it, the rest of the team ain't touching the C's. Rondo will burn fisher everytime.
