And I guess he was all talk when he asked RJJ if he had any excuses tonight before destroying him in 2 rounds.

Tarver can box, unlike Calzaghe. Tarver throws straight punches with power, unlike Calzaghe. Tarver has fought way better opposition, Tarver has just as good a chin and stamina.

He's got more then a chance, he's the definitive favorite imo. Calzaghe is a busy fighter who slaps, and leaves himself wide open to counters down the middle. Say hello to another early round KO in Tarver's career

He's no Gatti. Who as we all know, had the same type of condition in his hands, but throws harder with the broken hand.

Luciano, put yourself in reverse gear mate. Your waffling on, and whilst Tarver's chin might be ok, your hurting him rim with your helmet.

This is one article on Tarver whilst there's been several on RJJ and Calzaghe. Don't hate the players, hate the game. Your in the minority up hill dude, face it.

I admire your faith in him he's clearly done something to really hit deep with you, but far from it with me, and I think many. He was a great fighter, but his strengths have diminished imo, and Calzaghe, Hops, or RJJ are clevered and would school him now.

Tarver beat a totally lame Woods unconvincingly, that is not a real champion, it was lacking instincts, desire, skill and capability. Tarver is only getting attention recently when he works his gob, like you do. Hence this one article, meanwhile theres many on other fighters. RJJ or Calzaghe now, would have ripped Woods to **** Calz Lacy style, and that was far from what Tarver demonstrated. Calzaghe would beat Tarver more easily than RJJ. Agree to disagree.

Anybody saying RJJ, a washed up has been who Tarver retired and has since fought another washed up has been and two nobodies, is a better fight than Tarver, is a Calzaghe fan not wanting to see their fighter lose.

Tarver is FAR superior to RJJ now, and would probably beat the **** out of Calzaghe if they fought next.
HAHAHA, man you are funny. So Tarvers last 3 oponents have been better than Roy's? Clinton Woods would have been stopped in 3 rounds against the Tito that fought Jones. Jones stopped him in 6. I dont even care about and have never heard of the other two chumps he fought after Hopkins. Jones got caught by a semi-lucky shot that got him gunshy against Tarver and he lost the last one because he barely even tried. He landed well on every exchange he threw, but didnt do enough. At least Hanshaw was featured on showtime and Ajamu was a tough guy who has never been down or stopped before. tarver fought chumps who have never been heard of and almost lost to one of them. Another interresting fact: Rjj tore up Hopkins in his prime and Tarver was schooled by him when he was 41. LOL. Dont be mad because your boy wont get a shot at Calzaghe. Without Jones, Tarver doesnt draw a crowd. Period.
