Tarver vs. Calzaghe is not a super fight. Jones vs. Calzaghe is.
Tarver: "Calzaghe, I'm The Real Champion"

I'd rather watch joe and tarver fight and i think tarver will win.
But he's definitely going to fight roy.Comment

It is utterly ludicrous to complain about Joe slapping his way to victory.
He has not been able to punch hard like he used to for many, many years now due to a debilitating medical condition in his hands.
As we have seen in previous fights, as soon as he hits hard, one of his hands breaks.Comment

In Tarver's defense he has beat RJJ convincingly and beat more top tier light heavyweights. If money was not an issue Tarver would be deserving of the fight. Kind of tough fight to call, it depends on which tarver shows up. Tarver's reach would give joe trouble.Comment

That is all very true, but if you were Joe and you were 36 would you take a fight that was going to generate huge amounts of money for you and your family or take a fight with Tarver?Comment

Everyone wants a piece of Joe know, must be loving it. Shame it took them so long to realise and be willing.
Any place lol? Tarver recently beat a Woods whom didn't even turn up. Sorry, but had that have been Calzaghe, he would have fired on and schooled Woods. Tarver was not impressive.
Ok he's beaten RJJ, but I think it's just an odd style match, RJJ doesn't seem to gel with Tarver, and I'm not sure Tarver would win now actually. Tarver likes to talk talk and talk, but inside the ring, he lacks the determination, style, flare, and fire.
Oddly as much as RJJ messed Joe around years ago and deserves some **** back, I think he'd be the better opponent, and more entertaining.
Joe easily beats Tarver imo, I'm stangely VERY confident about that. If he thinks Joe is going to be as easy as Woods he's got another thing coming, totally different, he'd be out gunned.
RJJ on the other hand, much more evenly matched, an entertainingly big fight, with two guys showing the heart, determination and flare, without needing to talk **** all day long. Speaks for itself.Comment

Anybody saying RJJ, a washed up has been who Tarver retired and has since fought another washed up has been and two nobodies, is a better fight than Tarver, is a Calzaghe fan not wanting to see their fighter lose.
Tarver is FAR superior to RJJ now, and would probably beat the **** out of Calzaghe if they fought next.Comment
