I don't think Boxing is losing. It's more on a plateau and they don't know how to get off. HBO has what? Two hour broadcasts for Boxing? And over half of that is hype? You could be at least putting on four matches on the undercard and hype the match OUTSIDE the broadcasts

While yes, there are Affliction**** who follow MMA because it's quick to begin and end, there are those who follow the talent from the bottom of the card up due thanks to their impressive showings win or lose.

If Boxing lets the public follow they're favorite undercard fighters or gives people an undercard to follow...and they reward impressive showings, win or lose...I can say that you'd find a slow but steady increase of business.

I feel sorry for Harry Davis Jr.

He helped train Starnes (the guy in white).

MMA is class..lol..That's why Boxers make millions and MMA fighters make thousands FOOL. Oh yeah MMA PPV's BODOG did a PPV with supposed #1 P4P fighter FEDOR and it did a pultry 18,000 PPV buys and BODOG never did a PPV show again..Imagine Boxing's P4P #1 Mayweather fighting my Grandma it would do more that 18,000 PPV buys...You MMA fans need to get a life and realize your fad has peaked and will fall soon

Class isn't money. Class is praising an opponent after a fight. Class is helping him (or her) train when they hit a rut. Class is helping other fighters to get to the pros.

As long as you have career martial artists, you'll have MMA

And Calvin Ayre never understood the game. He was just another Affliction***.

The Thing that MMA does best is build up the fighters and saturates them to the fans.

In Boxing you wont see any boxing fans drooling to get a signature with a guy with a 5 loss record and 3 wins...in UFC or MMA almost all the fans have no life they even idolize these bums who are not even elite but they make them out to be well known.

In Boxing and other sports you gotta pay your dues before you can be a star in MMA you can go to TUF and have a 0 for 0 record and then get mad poon and be famous even if you suck.

they over hype there fighters thats why I think UFC is a fraud They need to get rid of Companies running MMA and let it be more like Boxing and do cross promotions with other promoters so the best around the world really fight the best.

not UFC fighters only fighting ufc fighters and then say they are the best in the world.

If you really think that MMA will fall soon, you need to check your sources there bud. MMA is growing quick in countries like America, Japan and Canada. MMA fighters don't make a lot because the organization they're in is still small and growing. You think UFC can afford to pay 10 million a fight to Liddell,Hughes and Couture when it is still a growing business. Boxing has big, rich and well known organizations an has been around for quite some time so ofcourse they can pay more to their boxers because they make more. UFC is becoming well known now and some think it is big but it will get even bigger. MMA will not fade and I don't know how people think that because more and more people are watching it. Don't hide the facts just because you like boxing more. I like both sports and even if I didn't I wouldn't say the other organization is garbage based on my opinion. Get your facts sstraight when you post

I don't think it will take over but it will give boxing a close competition. It will most likely go back and fourth between the two sports. The problem with boxing is that they don't have that much good undercards and there big fights aren't as often. That is why MMA is growing and becoming more known. MMA fans want action whether its with a good fighter or not and oganizations like UFC can most of the time offer that. The only problem is it doesn't make as much money so they musst slowly gain popularity

Boxing on a world-wide level is way over MMA...Is MMA an olympic event? NO Does it have a track record and a history like Boxing? NO..Boxing is engrained in may cultures and societys Phillippines,Mexico,PuertoRico,Cuba and in the U.K. it is not just gonna go away and that was the whole purpose of this post CLOWN was that UFC is taking over Boxing which simply is not and will not ever happen. I'm not gonna argue about UFC/MMA and why I think it is garbage but it is not gonna take over Boxing. If you ask most MMA fans who don't like Boxing and say MMA is the new thing and they will tell you they never really followed Boxing anyways so if they never did watch it in the first place and now they watch MMA how is that gonna have an effect on Boxing? BUNCH OF ******S THINKING MMA IS TAKING OVER
