I don't think Boxing is losing. It's more on a plateau and they don't know how to get off. HBO has what? Two hour broadcasts for Boxing? And over half of that is hype? You could be at least putting on four matches on the undercard and hype the match OUTSIDE the broadcasts
While yes, there are Affliction**** who follow MMA because it's quick to begin and end, there are those who follow the talent from the bottom of the card up due thanks to their impressive showings win or lose.
If Boxing lets the public follow they're favorite undercard fighters or gives people an undercard to follow...and they reward impressive showings, win or lose...I can say that you'd find a slow but steady increase of business.
