Hopkins lost cuz he's old, not cuz joe is better

Calzaghe barley managed to beat a SHOT Hopkins that put him on the floor and (luckily for Calzaghe) gassed the 2nd half of the fight. WOW!

I was pretty drunk when I made this thread, so I came off like an *******. lol, sorry about that.

I give calzaghe props for first off taking the fight with bhop in america and 2nd, it wasn't pretty but he got the W and that's really what matters in the end. So I have to give credit where it's due.

i agree although i did think hopkins won that hopkins would of beat joe by a clear cut decision if it was a few years before

truth. a few year younger bhop would have ko'd joe within 2 rounds.

he ran out of gas tonight, didnt have enough in the tank. a young bhop, lol, no question the fight would end in ko

You have no idea how the fight would turn out, both Joe and Bernard fought much different in their primes. Joe got hit by a clean shot while he was square on, offbalance, cold and walked right into the shot.
He got hit by many more of those right hands and when his feet were where they we supposed to be and when he was in his rhythm he took em easily.
it would be a razor thin points decision possibly a draw in my eyes but we have no idea how i would turn out.
