not crying, just pointing out a fact. joe won because he landed more punches, not because he's the better boxer. hopkins ran out of gas early, still had it a draw. nothing that impressive about joe tonight, just more of an old hopkins

I think it would have lasted a bit longer but I agree, Hopkins by KO in his younger days.

Just because he was older doesn't mean he ****** at all.

I think age did play a part because Hopkins couldn't throw as much in the exchanges, but that still is no excuse for why he lost. We should give Joe his credit (and Calzaghe fans should give Bernard his credit for putting up a close fight, but that's doubtful except for Ricky and starjammer)

Is it just me or is Hopkins and most of his fans the most pathetic losers I've ever seen. GET OVER IT, YOU LOST.

I agree with the thread starter but Calzaghe is a great fighter himself. I just believe that a younger Hopkins would have had more in the tank going down the stretch and was quicker as well. I see the fight going the same way but with Hopkins pulling away at the end in a close fight. Calzaghe is great, but peak Hopkins would be too much for him.
