Pavlik is 6'2 and Mayweather has no business at middleweight. In fact, i would favor all of the middleweight champions over him. He barely handled Oscar's size, strength and reach, so what would he do with a Kelly Pavlik, Abraham or Sturm? Mayweather is only 5'7 and a natural junior welterweight right now. He would be bullied and muscled around by those big guys.

Floyd would have no chance against Taylor or Pavlik. Mayweather is not Spinks. Spinks is 5'10 and naturally bigger than Floyd, as he started at a bigger weight class and hes stronger as well. He doesn't move as much as Spinks, hes not as cautious and he doesn't have the foot speed of Spinks either. Cory is also a southpaw, which really threw Taylor off of his game. Two completely different fighters. Mayweather is vulnerable to bigger fighters with a strong jab and Taylor's reach would be too much to overcome for the smaller Mayweather, who had a hard time dealing with Oscar's size and strength. Oscar is a lot smaller than Taylor as well.

Then what would Taylor or Pavlik do? Who are natural middleweights and really light heavyweights judging by their frames. Thats my point. Oscar is junior middleweight and started out at super featherweight, plus hes only 5'10 and 154 LBS. Taylor and Pavlik both started at middleweight and are over 6'0 tall.

The first 8 pages of this thread all I see are

1) People saying it can be done and explaining why with facts and historic parallels

2) People throwing insults and saying "PAVLIK KOS HIM" without explaining why
