My bet is that Floyd could beat every guy from 3 on down. Or at least be HIGHLY competitive with them.

He wouldn't beat the top 5 guys. The rest, I'll say he can be competitive and maybe even beat some of them.

I think Mayweather has MORE than enough boxing skill to beat Felix Sturm.

FS got kayo'd by Castillejo, and gets hit alot.

Would you bet money that Duddy can beat Mayweather? I wouldn't.

Sturm has good defense and is a good boxer, I don't think Mayweather would hit as hard as Castillejo at 160, Sturm would beat Mayweather.

I would actually pick Mayweather over Duddy because Duddy's defense is nonexistent.

Sturm has a pretty good defense. He doesn't get hit by anything major, plus is quite skilled himself. I'd favour him over Mayweather.....he's naturally bigger and could force a UD.

Nobody knows what power Mayweather could carry at 160.....but putting that much weight on, i'm not sure.....Sturm has faced much harder hitters and i don't think Floyd would be as quick as he is at Welter.

So many in here see Floyd doing well against pavlik as he is not fast.

Pavlik is not fast, but he has great timing and is super accurate. Not only does he have huge physical advantages, but he is not as limited as people think. He out jabbed the best jabber in the business. Floyd would make Pavlik chase for a bit, but Pavlik would catch him, and when he does, he mops the ****ing floor with Floyd!

1 punch is all it will take, just one and Floyd's night is over. Pavlik would even hurt him with his jab. He hits Floyd arms? Even that would make Floyd fly across the ring.

I understand many of you are fans of Floyd. Everyone has physical limitations though

i wouldnt even favor floyd in this fight

but the possibility of floyd outboxing pavlik for 12 rounds.. ISNT an impossibility

And did I SAY i dont think floyd can be beaten... NO... if you read what i typed.. i said IN FLOYDS mind
We know Jones beat Ruiz, but the difference between Ruiz and Jones was small compared to the difference between Pavlik and Mayweather.

Especially when you consider that Pavlik is actually Taller than Ruiz and is fundamentally better than Ruiz skill wise in ever aspect.!!

There is no way a 5'7" plus change Mayweather could even outbox him, he will always be in Pavlik's punching range if he wants to get off any punches himself. Pavlik would brutalize him!!

Do you really think that Mayweather that hasn't have the "cojones" to fight Cotto would be willling to have the "cojones" to fight any middleweight? I mean get real he wouldn't because he knows he'll get destroyed and end up with a rearranged face.
