Ive heard he was really ****y in his earlier years tho. And Ive heard its Frank Warren's fault he wasnt more well known, so maybe its that.

...Wank Warren is the worst. cant stand that guy. I blame him.
You don't know why he isn't well known? Really? What a mystery... THE GUY HAS NEVER LEFT HIS COUNTRY OR FOUGHT ANY OF THE BIG NAMES! Mystery solved. This isn't rocket science... He wouldn't even travel to Denmark to help Kessler promote that fight? Everyone blames everything on Warren, but it's clear that Joe is perfectly happy being the Big Fish in the small pond.

That means nothing since Hopkins is 43 years old. If that would count Marciano would be rated top 10 for beating Joe Louis. :S If Calzaghe could beat someone good like Pavlik i'll give it to him.

                B-Hops vs Pavlik who wins?

I agree where you are coming from but I think B-Hops would win that and style wise B-Hops is a far more difficult fight for Joe. More often than not he looks like crap against fighters that he has to take the fight to.

If ever a guy was made for Joe it is Pavlik.

please dont try to convince anybody you have been watching boxing since Lewis was around..... i bet the first time you showed an interest in boxing was when you saw a replay of Cal***gy-Lacy in November 2007 and fell in love with your idol on first sight.

your whole fakeass boxrec scholar act has NEWBIE written all over it in bright pink magic marker.

ur posts try to come across like the posts of a thoughtful intelligent longterm fight historian...... but the posters who see through you will expose ur messages as the padded uninformative Cal***gy love-letters they really are..... no insight into how the fight on April 19 will be fought and won........ just clueless public displays of affection for your IDOL Hoe Cal***gy, dressed up in white collar grammar to make them look more worthwhile than they really are.

                  APRIL 19 = EXECUTION DAY
Says the guy with 15 posts...Who only joined this month....And only has 4 posts that are not about Hopkins-Calzaghe or more accuratly Calzaghe hate.

And an apparent obsession with FRKO.....

                  ALTs are crazy..

Hopkins is old, but he's beaten Tarver and Wright in his last two fights. What matters is whether or not he is the best possible opponent at 168 or 175, and to me he has proved that he is.

Yes. Look at what happened with Junior Witter recently. He tried to come over to the US and fight on the undercard of Casamayor-Katsidis but his opponent pulled out. He offered to fight someone else but HBO weren't interested.

I can't see Andreas Kotelnik or Sergiy Dzinziruk having sell out fights in Las Vegas, can you?

Sure you do. If you are a long-time champion it is reasonable to want 50%, especially when you are the one travelling to a foreign country. Or maybe Calzaghe should've fought Manfredo in the US and let Manfredo take most of the money
