True he does have everyone saying it for him, but just imagine if Larry asked him about Mayweather and Cotto said something like "Mayweather is a *****, he wont fight me, next question..". A phrase like that would have everyone looking at Floyd like a punk and would have to respond. I think the fight will happen eventually, but a simple phrase from Cotto like that could do wonders in my opinion.

I think your absolutely right. I think Mayweather is waiting for a Cotto fight to bring as much money as a DLH or a Hatton fight. If Cotto had just as big a mouth as Mayweather (lol) this fight already would have been made. IMO

I think its eaxactly what hes doing... lets think about this... think exactly how floyd thinks...

In floyds mind... nobody can beat him... he TRULY believes he IS the best fighter ever... in his mind, thats the way it is... he looks at cotto and sees someone who cant fight as good as he can...

The Mayweather-Hatton fight was probably agreed to long before Hatton called out Floyd after the Castillo fight. Floyd's camp probably choose the exact phrase for Hatton to say. Together in the ring, Cotto and Mayweather Sr. could both call Floyd a ducking ***** and Floyd would still use the same excuses he has been using.
