If Floyd loses to Cotto...Whats the worst that can happen......a rematch.

Maybe Floyd wins the rematch...then we have folks the bigest trilogy of our era.

      Its business people.

GAURANTEED MAX PAY OUT, LITTLE RISK: Ricky Hatton
GAURANTEED MAX PAY OUT, LIGHT-MEDIUM RISK: Oscar De La Hoya
NOT GAURANTEED MAX PAY OUT, MEDIUM-HIGH RISK: Miguel Cotto

This is what Floyd looks at.

Another reason Im not tripping on a Cotto fight right now is because I want to see Mayweather fight more..I gurantee he will retire after he beats Cotto.

In the meantime..I can watch him against Oscar...Hatton....then maybe Cotto.
I can't see Mayweather really retiring (for good) if he fights Cotto and beats him.

It's part of boxing tradition that 99.9% of fighters fight on too long. Floyd's been boxing his whole life. He can talk about how boxing is becoming "boring" to him, but I think he'll be more bored after he retires. Just like how Hopkins said he was retired after the Tarver fight. About a month or so after, there was an article detailing how bored Hopkins was without a fight to look forward to.

And Hopkins has done other things besides box, in his life. Boxing is basically all Floyd has done, since he was a toddler.

This is true.. and if he ever loses, hell DEFINITELY not retire, because theres no protection over that "zero" anymore....

I think Floyd also loves the approval of the "hip-hop community". If Cotto called him a *****, you know everybody would be in his ear telling him just to fight him, and the pressure would be there from the people he admires and looks for approval from.

Cotto: "By not fighting me, Floyd is quickly becoming the Juelz Santana of boxing."

Floyd: "Sign the ****ing fight. No one calls me Juelz Santana."

Idk, we'll have to talk about it. Not Floyd, I've already seen them all. PM me about it, and we can have a good chat. I found another fight that I want you to doctor up for me by the way. I can drop another few thousand points on you if you are interested.
