Both of them are throwbacks to the fighters of the past. Cotto will take a point deduction to save himself from trouble. Marg will hit low to slow a guy down.

I don't see how Cotto's naysayers are saying this will be the fight that makes them believers when he's already beaten the likes of Judah, Quintana and Mosley. All 3 of those guys are far better fighters than Margarito is in terms of technique and ability.

I think it's another attempt to play both sides of the fence. So if Cotto wins, they can say they never talked **** about him. But if Cotto get's beaten, they can say what they really want, that's a ***** move.

I like both guys, and aren't really sure who I'm supporting.

I will say this though, I think Margarito knocking out Cotto is a far more likely scenario than Cotto knocking out Margarito.

How many people went nuts when Tito was knocked down for the umpteen time, yet still came back to KO his opponents? Nobody. Cotto, has yet to be OFFICIALLY knocked down from being hurt, and has recovered well in the past. Now at 147lbs his chin is not a factor. Yet even when people talked so much including me, in reality, he hasn't even been knocked down as bad as Tito has been in the past. I guess it's just when people are hating, they gotta find anything and ride on it until the fighter really demonstrates his wares.

How can you say his chin is not a factor, he has been dropped badly and rocked badly to the point of being stopped by both Torres and Corley.
He survived and went on to win by knockout, great, but to say his chin is not a factor is crazy.

Has he been dropped at 147? Quintana, Judah and Mosley... No one has been more impressive than Cotto! What I love the most is that with each fight, the usual suspects come with the predictable attacks and my man keeps doin his thing. NEXT!!!

Cotto looked great - and read what I wrote about Cotto after that fight! I was glowing like a proud papa.. But Shane left that fat head of his dead central the whole ****in night, and I realized I was oversstating.. Mosley was showing some very bizarre signs of ringware. I could have busted his ass with a 4 punch combo that night I swear to ****in gawd!!

And mind you the Associated Press scored it 114-114! The Ring had it 115-113 Mosley from ringside.. Good lawd..

I really don't want to be talking about Cotto and Margarito.. I think some of us need rehab or some ****.. This is getting out of hand..
