Well I like both guys. Both of them are true warriors in my eyes. Margarito is a guy who has failed against some tall guys in there, but seems to be monster for shorter guys to beat.

He is so strong and throws so many punches. Taller guys can avoid him by staying out of range. Shorter guys are forced to be within range if they want to land anything themselves.

Many people will say, well Marg is not skilled, it's his size that wins him fights. So what do you say about speed? Speed is not a learned skill either, just like size it is something that is God given. You work with what was given to you.

Many people will try to discredit Tony, but the guys who enter the ring with him know how much of a challenge he is. He is a non stop punching machine and even at 30, it could be his ticket for stardom. He has taken the long road and has paid his dues.

So many punks on these boards try to discredit him, in a blatant attempt to justify their own man for avoiding him. They will then mention losses. Well all good fighters lose, when they take risks. A loss is just something that you learn by, if you deal with them correctly.

Actually speed is learned. While you can be born quick, slow pokes can be trained to be fast i.e. interval runs.

i don't like him but you can't discredit him. this fight will probably have a rematch and might be fight of the year or it could push tony toward mayweather or rematch with cottley

It is something that can be improved upon, but someone who is slow, cannot become a speed demon.

Margarito is not fast with his hands, but he compensates for it with volume punching from all angles. He will take anything that is given to him. He will never be as fast as Cotto or Floyd, or as technically skilled. He counters it with being a physical force in there.

Well Cotto will need to use his skills. Cotto is my favorite fighter, but he will get his ass kicked in a war of attrition with Antonio.

Anyone at welterweight who slugs it out with Tony, will get beat down. Cotto knows this and he will be moving in that ring. Cotto has enough power to earn Marg's respect so Marg will not try to steamroll him.

To me, this is the best fight of the decade. It just does not get any better to me. This is my dream fight. Expect the blood to fly baby!!hehe

if cotto does the chicken dance to margarito he is done,
margarito won't sto throwing and cotto is not a boxer to relying on it to survive without throwing a punch a la whitaker or mayweather

i know that your boy and all but i'm expecting him to get ass whooped. it much of a disadvantage for him to try to stay on the outside and box. he will have to come inside and that when the slugging starts. i take bet once it s signed

Marg has a lot of body to hit and Cotto will have a field day with it.
