If we go back to the example of Mayweather and we compare his fight with Hatton to the one with Baldomir we would agree that on both occasions Mayweather had a gameplan and stuck to it both times and won both fights but I think you would also have to agree that one of those performances was considerably better than the other.

I would rate them the same. See Im different than alot of fans, because to me the name of the game is to win first and foremost, regardless of how it looks, wonder why I like Hopkins? If youre going by how something looks, thats not important, it may be important to the fan who spent a couple thousand on ringside seats, but if you dont win, it dont matter.

To the topic, Tarver should have beaten Woods, he is a better fighter and he did it easily but did he do it with any form of style.....no. Therefore he is still praying that either Calzaghe or Hopkins picks him to fight next otherwise he wont fill a phone booth let alone an arena.

This fight is straight forward Tarver boxed his way to an easy UD whilst Woods once again withered on the big stage, the real question you should be asking if you want to talk about national fighters is how come Dawson managed to win a fight on three cards by four rounds when it was blatantly obvious that the fight was either:

1. A close win for Johnson
2. A draw
3. A split decision
4. A close win for Dawson

If anything the majority of un bias fans would have given it to Johnson.

Here's the final point, I do not blame the American fans for this loss nor will I goad the American fans should Calzaghe beat Hopkins but then again I am an adult, are you?

Hmm, yeah. But at least we have the balls to go over and fight..It was a poor performance from Clinton but he's not one of our elite fighters therefore cannot be considered a fraud. I'd love to see some Americans come over here and fight it would be a completely different ball game.

Calzaghe won't give a **** about an english fighter getting destroyed when he's not english. It showed during the Hopkins Calzaghe Countdown on HBO last night, he ain't english I'll give props to him and Wales if Calzaghe wins, but this got nothing to do with the english limies. They can't crow about **** if Hopkins loses, none of their fighters are involved.
