Strange how the national anthems will not be played.

He's proud to be British under the guise of 'lets make as much money as possible'. The only anthem that was agreed to be played was the Welsh one in the Hopkins fight, this as agreed before later Golden boy promotions stated no anthems.

Its b/c they don't want a Hatton/mayweather repeat as I'm sure you know. Boxing can't afford any more hits on the class of the sport. Americans would be expecting to hear our anthem booed, and there is a decent chance a fight in the stands would break out, interupting what all the lucky people going paid damn good money to see, a big fight. It ****** that a minority have to **** it up for the majority. I've never been to any sporting even here and not heard the stars and stripes played. But it is a privately run even and they can do whatever they damn well please.

Dude, just by being Welsh and showing the flag, by it's very definition, is British. He's unlikely to show two seperate flags. If your Welsh, your British. I'm half Welsh half English, I'd probably flaunt the English flag in sports, and I'm proud to be British. The two usually go hand in hand. It's the UNITED Kingdom, with four COUNTRIES!!
