Did you not hear that Cotto clearly said:

"I don't need Mayweather"

"I can't make him fight me"

"When Floyd has the courage to fight me - then I will fight him"

This fight is in FLOYDs fragile hands and he doesn't want to touch it because Cotto is going to give him his first L.

right. everybody is going to give floyd his 1st lost aren't they? when somebody actually does, then make posts, not prior, because it has to actually happen before you make posts like this. floyd will not lose to cotto ever, which is what cotto knew at 140, he thinks he's ready for money may now, which is great, and i want the fight to happen, but waiting for it, is making it bigger and bigger, and the demand for it, is only making it greater. do you not see a dramatic storyline in all of this brewing? this fight will be epic, floyd knows this, cotto knows this, floyd is a smart business man. he is looking out for boxing by making cotto get his name bigger and legacy up. the fight will happen, trust me, floyd still has that fire that is going to make him even greater. cotto is a hell of a warrior and a fighter, and floyd is the best in boxing and greatest of his generation, bar none. floyd is looking out for cotto, he's making it into a storyline. the fight will happen, and floyd will beat cotto but it will be a huge fight. just keep your mind open man, that's all. it's coming sooner than you know it, trust me.

Thats hilarious since everyone knows floyd is clearly ducking Cotto. Cotto has already called floyd out countless times saying he can't force the little boy to fight him. Did you even watch cottos fight tonight? Each day Mayweather passes cotto becomes a better boxer. Cotto could have easily ko'd Gomez tonight but instead Cotto played with him.

Why can't the boxing commison force Mayweather to fight cotto? Isn't Cotto his mandatory? I don't understand how Mayweather is allowed to hold onto all those belts of his and not be forced to fight the number 2 ranked boxer in the divison. Cotto should be ranked one, but he won't ever be because the boxing commision lets Mayweather do whatever the hell he wants
