People said the same about Hatton,they were talking about Margartto until Margarito got his arse roasted by Williams.
Personally I dont see why Cotto should even be in the same ring with Floyd,how much money does he bring.There is money in the Oscar fight and money in the Ricky hatton fight.

That's what Mayweather waits for. He waits for fighters he's scared of fighting to lose. He'll be waiting a while in Cotto's case.

Hopefully they'll fight at some point. Cotto has to beat Margarito first(which I think he will). Floyd is unpredictable. Nobody knows what he'll do. When he has no one else to fight and the hunger is still there, I think he'll fight him.

I agree with you for once, but Cotto does want the fight, he just doesn't care that much when he could face other people. I like HBO and people pressuring Floyd, but we have to be real here, if Cotto isn't that serious about it, it won't happen.

I mean it's like Kostya Tszyu vs Floyd Mayweather, they both wanted to fight each other (well I'm not so sure Floyd wants to fight Cotto because Arum is invovled).

However, I think we would agree that Cotto shouldn't take the Margarito tactic either where he seems desperate. Then again Cotto might be more tolerable because Cotto actually has a resume where as Margarito didn't.

Cotto needs to pressure Mayweather calling him out with some good insults and let the media (actual media, not his promoter) do most of the talking.
