If Pacman keeps his steady diet of old men or switches to the likes of David Diaz, he sure aint getting on top of anything.

Maybe Calzaghe will do something better than that, but I dont know how many fights he has left in him at his tender age. I see him fighting Roy Jones next, which is not getting him to the top for sure

I am curious to see if anyone else gets close to the top spot in the next 12 months.
At least the old men Pacquiao fights are a) in his own weightclass and b) still very skilled and dangerous fighters. Besides, if he goes on and clears out the lightweight division then he easily should be put in front of Floyd. The difference is Pacquiao is still ambitious about boxing.

IMO, he won 3 of the first 4-5 rounds. Was doing well and did almost knock Mayweather down in the first round. The ref took Hatton out of the fight and ive never seen more elbows landed than Mayweather did in this fight, ever. It was a cheaters win and there should be a rematch on even terms. The only reason nobody disputes it , is because the end came by TKO. Thats right, he didnt knock Hatton out. It was a TKO and Ricky got up from the initial "check hook". The hook would have never got there if Cortez were to have warned Mayweather for evrything he did instead of hanging on Ricky's nuts about everything. I could go on and on, but it would do no good. Mayweather fans will say Hatton was outclassed and Hatton fans will agree with me. Either way nothing is solved. They need to fight again to settle the score. I'll shut the hell up if Mayweather beats Hatton with a ref who is competant & calls the fight correctly and doesn't lean toward the man who he lives in the same town as or paid him off.

          in his own weightclass? LOL

Pacman entirely skipped 130 by fighting featherweights and superbantamweights, who were also old, and mostly coming off losses.

the difference is that when Mayweather fought a smaller man, he was unbeaten, in his prime, and the ring champion of the division below. EDIT: And most important, Hatton was smaller than most welters, but not smallet than Mayweather.

The lightweight division beltholders currently consist of two old men (Campbell, and Casa, who fought their entire prime at 130) and a nobody (David Diaz).

HAHAHA, keep dreamin son. Malignaggi will get KO'd. Wait and see. Hatton will bully him with no regard for any type of power coming back and destroy that body until he lays down from all the abuse. Mark my words. Hatton will KO Paulie M.

Mayweather is feather fisted now. Funny stuff. Keep it coming. You are an idiot. Also: after 11pm CST, on April 19th. You can take down the ****ing avatar that says joke Calzaghe. Then you can make one that says: Bernie Pop-kins.

Sold well the first time didn't it? Too bad Witter couldn't sell out a bus station in downtown London. Loser a55 needs to shut up and maybe he can give Hatton head one day.

Dlh would ko hatton quicker than floyd, he has more power, hatton will lose to paulie m via decision, if cotto couldn't ko him hatton definately won't. Plus he was a little overrated, paulie will do exactly wat mayweather did, he's a pretty slick boxer but if anything n'dou has a better chance of stopping paulie then ricky does.

I don't think Hatton's fans would want to see Ricky out himself through that again.
