Umm, watch the fight again. It looked like a natural junior middle fighting a natural junior welter. Floyd has always been naturally very lean, and it allowed him to stay at very low weights (for his frame) for a long time. And at lower weights, especially, height and reach make a world of difference.

Floyd's huge reach advantage makes Hatton HAVE to come to him, which gives Floyd a huge advantage of moving back and waiting for Hatton to come to him and slipping, jabbing, very relaxed, and of course every time Hatton did get inside, Cortez broke them immediately. Floyd has used his reach as an assest throughout his career, but it's a HUGE factor when facing an infighter who has a drastically smaller reach than you, as with Hatton.

Anyway, enough of the boxing lesson, go back to "ROFL" at stuff you don't understand.
a natural jr. middle? why bother answering the rest... how can you call anything starting like that a ”lesson“... go to school and see what a lesson is.

Floyd has a reach advantage on everyone he faced at every weight, what's yout point then?

What does reach and height have to do with size? By your ridiculous argument Hearns was ”bigger“ than Tyson, I will keep on ROFLing, on your poor understanding of this sport.

Also I advise you to watch the fight again, to see PBF beating Hatton on the inside. Or landing a straight right and holding, or slipping under Hatton left, leaning down, offering the left side of his body to avoid any chance of left hooks to the body, holding like crazy in the earlier rounds to call Cortez's attention on holding, using his elbows, using footwork to control Hatton coming with angles (while he was still trying to come in with angles early in the fight).

That's what won him the fight (some of the above are fouls), not jabbing as you say, which he barely used until round 9, when he showed off some jabbing.

    Hope you enjoyed your lesson.

Yes, a lot of fighters would not bother fighting one of the best fighters in the world for a second time, having been beaten already.

Personally, though, I would like to see a re-match.

No one who watched that fight can say that Hatton was not dealt with unfairly, on a huge scale.

My God, Mayweather gave the man brain damage. Does he really think he stands any chance whatsoever in a rematch? My God, he didn't land one good punch in the first fight!

Floyd is like that abusive husband on COPS and his fanatics are like the wife he slaps around, but his wife doesnt want him to go to jail because she swears he's a good guy and a very good husband.

"He's really nice and a good husband *sniff sniff*. It was problaly my fault anyway *sniff*"

Sounds good, So after Hattons tune up, he should pick up a belt at WW by fighting Quintana. Or more reasonable figth would be Malinaggi like I been thinking for a while it would be a good style tune up for Hatton, although Malinaggi will actually stand and trade at times still would be elusive like Mayweather, so good practice with a quick/elusive fighter.

I still wonder if that KO owed anything to the collision with the corner post. He fell face or head first into it in a sort of free-fall.
