Whether or not Ricky Hatton is a very good welterweight and thus deserves a re-match with Mayweather, I would like to see a re-match take place at Wembley Stadium.

Fo one, Hatton was treated ridiculously bad by the referee Joe Cortez in their first fight so there will always be question marks as to whether or not Mayweather won the match fair and square.

Also, any high profile contest between two boxers at one of the most famous sporting venues on the planet (Wembley Stadium) can only be good for this sport.

If this rematch happens, Floyd should be stripped of his Pound for Pound status.

If Mayweather cares about his UK fans and want to fight there, go fight Cotto in the UK and on the undercard can be Hatton Witter. I'd easily pay 100 dollars to watch that....

BUT (and it's a big but) Hatton is just too small to compete above 140. Floyd is too big for him, pure and simple. Hatton will lose again, whether he's allowed to fight inside or not.
Floyd is much smaller than Hatton what you are talking about. Hatton lost because he is inferior to Floyd. Hard for you but the truth you can't escape from.

size wasn't the issue... strength wasn't the issue
the ref didn't help but the ref wasn't the issue
                    "skills paid the bills" lol

please tell me at what point you saw floyd even remotely in any real danger... that first round punch did not have him in trouble, i don't know what ricky can take from that fight that makes him think he can win...

i actually think cortez distorted ricky's perception.. he honestly thinks that with a different ref he would win..

billy graham first said it was the size that made the difference.. then it was floyd who won fair ans sqaure... now it was the ref!!

Hatton has a right to pursue a rematch to try and bury some of his deamons he has regarding that night. As a boxing fan, I'd rather not see the rematch made but admire Ricky for wanting a chance at revenge.
