People forgot that Oscar has 2 more matches left after Forbes..

A rematch with Floyd in September

and a farewell bout even he's down 0-2 against Floyd on September 2009.Maybe

Floyd's resume for the next and last 3 years.

    2007 - Oscar, Hatton
    2008 - Oscar
    2009 - Hatton , Oscar(Farewell)

I used to like and respect Hatton, but after reading this he is officially at the bottom of my list right now. Now I see why most Brits have been fed up all these years with the Witter-Hatton fiasco, he should fight Witter to finish his career and retire from the sport like a True "Honorably" British-Mexican Warrior. What a crock of **** man, between DeLaHoya-Mayweather- and now Hatton, boxing seems more corrupted and scripted than the WWE.

Not to piss Hattonites off, but honestly, I don't really care what Hatton does at this point. His resume doesn't hold enough significance for this fight to be a disgrace to himself and boxing. Mayweather, however, still has the chance to solidify himself as something truly amazing. As long as he fights Cotto, I don't care if he takes a rematch with Hatton because I honestly believe if he beats Cotto he has nothing left to prove. No other welterweight holds the value that Miguel Cotto does, regardless of who is behind him because truthfully, besides Cotto, the division is unsteady where fighters win and lose belts everyday it seems like. That being said, that is the only way Mayweather-Hatton II, as unnecessary as it is, would be okay in my book. Otherwise this fight is a joke and a slap in the face to boxing fans, though some may view it as that anyhow.

Yeah I agree, if they were not in the U.K. with the biased fans, judges, referee, promoters, networks, Lacy would have won that fight easily! The only reason he lost is b/c they judges took away those 13 points from him, b/c he wasn't landing any punches! I smell home cooking

          Rematch after the Hopkins fight?

BUT (and it's a big but) Hatton is just too small to compete above 140. Floyd is too big for him, pure and simple. Hatton will lose again, whether he's allowed to fight inside or not.
ROFL, former superfeatherweight, who came on fight night lighter than Ricky through all of his career (even when fighting at 154), too big? that's a good one.

In an ideal world there should not be a rematch, because Mayweather was winning on the inside TOO. In an ideal world the 100,000 people filling up Wembley Stadium dont matter fot matchmaking.

The good thing is that Hatton seems to be the only one who makes Mayweather fight instead of boxe, so at least it's going to be entertaining.

Hatton got the brakes beat off him.. I only had him winning 2 rounds I think.
                    He doesn't deserve a rematch!

Most likely yes, it depends on what the others do.

If Pacman keeps his steady diet of old men or switches to the likes of David Diaz, he sure aint getting on top of anything.

Maybe Calzaghe will do something better than that, but I dont know how many fights he has left in him at his tender age. I see him fighting Roy Jones next, which is not getting him to the top for sure

I am curious to see if anyone else gets close to the top spot in the next 12 months.
