Who cares if Mayweather fight Cotto

Cotto is alredy the best fighter today, Floyd is a creation of the media a paper champion, he is not what people beleive he is.if you look at his record he only fought weak figters, DLH is an old man in boxitical terms, hatton was a lucky punch. he is running away from real figters. he want to fight only those he knows he can defeat. s not worthy to fight somebody that do not value the philosophy of being a good figter. real champions, do not run away from real challenges. Boxers like,Chavez,Ali, Lewis,Duran, Marciano and Cotto.

Floyd Mayweather is just a creation of the media.a plastic champion, he do not have the spirit of a boxer but a bussinesman, even his nick name reveal that. is a shame to call Mayweather the Best Pound/pound Boxer when he is not.

point is you are giving Floyd credit for fighting a part time fighter. who had ONE fight in three years and only fights once a year. go away you lose

would Hatton have stopped Gatti at 147? can Hatton beat Manfredo at 154?

Of course I knew that. Even though it was a combination of factors, had it been Miguel Cotto today and Sila were still in power, there would be no holiday.

And there is no denying the multitude of people that came out for the Tito parade when he first announced his retirement. You remember how crazy that **** was by the Hiram Bithorn?
No sabía que sabías. I read your arguments, but forgot to read the nick.

And no, there is no fight today that Cotto could make that would generate that kind of buzz here in the island, not even Mayweather. That was a prime, undefeated, Mexican and Latin American celebrity Oscar de la Hoya defeated by a Puertorican that speaks Spanish like Joel Casamayor. Even if Sila was still in power.

I won't try to speak for the whole Puerto Rico, but at least in my family, everybody knows who Oscar de la Hoya is, and of course, everybody also knows who Tito and Cotto are.

Thinking about it... there is one fight that would generate more attention in Puerto Rico than Tito/DLH, and that would be Tito/Cotto.

You don't think that the Oscar that lost to Floyd would've beat most of the top guys out there? There are only three people at 147 or 154 whom I would've picked to beat Oscar: Cotto, Vernon Forrest, and Mayweather. Everyone else at those weight classes was an underdog to De La Hoya.

Just because you thought Floyd was a superior fighter doesn't mean he shouldn't get credit for it. If a guy ranked #1 fights the guy ranked #2 and wins, do you not give him credit for beating a tough opponent? Oscar was ranked in the top 5 at Jr. Middle by everyone. It's still a tough challenge, regardless of the layoff time.

You are giving credit to Cotto for fighting a fighter who did not win a title fight since 2003, and it was controversial, before that you have to go to 2001.

You should consider stopping spamming the boards with crap like that.

You have to understand that both Mosley and De La Hoya are respectable opponents, and quit whining your bias all day long...

                      yes

yes EDIT: I have to think longer about this one, but only because Mandredo is so much bigger than Hatto., Manfredo is **** though, he is really not world class.

are you serious or just typing randomly on your keyboard?
