But since I have to defend my choice I think people also recall a time when he had all of these:

at the time he fought cotto he was on a 3 fight-no win streak.......judah is simply not good against anyne that can last more than 4 rounds against him..

U might wanna take a second look at Cotto's so-called knock down against Torres. Yes he hurt Cotto in that fight, but Torres pulled Cotto down by the back of his head/neck. Its not as if he went down from a punch. Floyd on the other hand, touched the canvas from a Judah punch.

I think Torres is a hell of a win because he had to dig deep and show the world what a champion does in the face of adversity and near defeat. Cotto showed true class and resilience not to mention his heart and will to win. These are the things true champions are made of and that is why I voted Torres as his second best win thus far. Of course Judah and Quintana also go into that mix but mentioning all these fights goes to show that Cotto is fighting top opposition and has beaten very good pugilist in his ever growing career.

sorta how Cotto knocked Corley down twice by hitting in the back of head a pulling down. And if u wanna get technical Floyd was going in for a punch yes his glove touched the canvas but he was far from hurt. Cotto was obviously hurt in the fight he went down in.

Torres has Arnaoutis and Holt on his record.
Malignaggi has N'dou and Ngoudjo on his record.

I definately give the nod to Quintana over those two.

Then I come to Zab Judah. I have trouble believing that the good of the one Cory Spinks win is enough to overcome losses from Tszyu, Spinks, Baldomir and Mayweather.

I think I end up voting Quintana due to the fact that he is undefeated outside of Cotto and has impressive wins over Julio and Williams.
good post Dwiens. you are the shizzle foh rizzle. im really impressed with you as of late,. very imformative and objective posting...

Torres. He could only do it in spots but he beat the **** outta Cotto in a few scattered bursts in that fight and almost finished him. Not an impresive win name wise but in terms of what he had to go through to win it was a big one for Cotto.

To the rescue and defense of Floyd comes Bad intentions!

Being hurt, and touching the canvas are two totally different things. Many fighters get hurt. Its a fight! When Cotto was pulled down, he disputed it with the ref and gestured that he was pulled down. Corley didnt say nothing, then took a knee 2x following that first knockdown.

Floyd on the other hand was hit with a punch that resulted in his glove touching the canvas in similar fashion to when Tarver's glove touched the canvas from a Bhop punch. You're right, he wasnt hurt, but he did touch the canvas.

I wouldnt even make a big deal about this, but it was you who wanted to compare the amount of times Cotto was down vs the amount of times Floyd was down. Im just stating the facts!
