You know what's tight? The amount of votes increases in chronological order. That means that his management truly is putting him in with better guys every time, and they are moving him up the ladder, without giving him easy fights that he doesn't need.

There is one word to describe Cotto: Professional.

I went with Judah. That was looked as as a big step up, and the odds were closer, especially with his skill set

Wow, 2 posters I respect quite a bit voted for fighters that I didn't expect at all...

UltimateBoxa and TheManchine, would you like to explain why you voted for N'dou and Maussa? I am interested to hear why you think those guys were the second best on Cotto's resume.

when he tko'd Victoriano Sosa in the 4th was a big win cuz at the time Cotto was just a prospect and Sosa went the distance with Floyd 11 months earlier and thats when pple started talking about Cotto fighting Floyd

call this guy good but his best wins are against a shot Judah & old Mosley, And you guys think he can hang with Floyd you are nuts.

who cares if Cotto KOed someone that went the distance with Floyd, That doesnt mean nothing, if it does then did u see Cottos face after Judah? did u see Floyds face after Judah? Did u see how bad Cotto was hurt against Corley? How many times has Cotto been on the canvas? how many times has Floyd? this comparing them by who they fought doesn't mean nothing.

By the way, both Cotto and Mayweather have officially been down once.

I agree with you that the manner of victory really doesn't matter, whether it is a KO or a decision. I think Mayweather dominated Baldomir more than Cotto dominated Torres, even though Cotto got the KO and Mayweather merely won a decision.

Still, all of that **** you said above doesn't mean **** when it comes to Mayweather and Cotto fighting in the same ring. Cotto deserves his shot. Anyone who says otherwise is mentally sick, and should be shot I'm afraid to say.
